Soraya Yachts has created an interesting new yacht concept design called the Soraya 70 superyacht. As with other Soraya yachts, one of the core design goals has been the integration of spacious common entertainment and socialising areas, ánd the yachts main saloon is just one such space. Indeed, the saloon in the Soraya 70 has an impressively high ceiling for a superyacht, so volume of the internal rooms is also important, together with the light given by the full-height windows.
The Soraya 70 yacht is another collaboration between Soraya Yachts and the Uniellé design studio. This team also worked together successfully on Soraya 46 yacht, which is now under construction. In fact Jure Bukavec, founder of Uniellé Yacht Design, designed Soraya 46 to be the ultimate showcase for the innovative use of new yacht building technologies and the Gentech shipyard has the honour of realising the design and technology from the plans into a physical reality. One interesting design features on the Soraya 70 yacht which is worthy of mention is her full owner’s deck with a large terrace which leads to the bow area housing a 10 metre diameter helipad. The yacht also boasts a 6 metre swimming pool overlooking the sea at her aft deck.
