Having regularly received compliments on the outdoor furniture designed to illustrate the Van Geest Design (VGD) superyacht concepts, it became clear that the next step would be to develop these superyacht furniture units further.

Tracey Canavaggio’s experience in furniture design and manufacturing development and Pieter van Geest’s know how of composite manufacturing and industrial design provide a unique combination for this development and furniture range.
These designs follow VGD’s general design philosophy: uncluttered, user-friendliness and following through not only the aesthetics but also the super yacht quality construction- and manufacturing.
All furniture units are made from the highest quality marine graded materials.
Superyacht outdoor furniture by Van Geest Design
The furniture materials were selected with a simple maintenance and up keep in mind. Most of the furniture units are made out of lightweight materials, frequently used in the boat building industry, allowing crew to handle the furniture on board.
Composite parts are molded and treated with a polyurethane high gloss topcoat for carbon fiber parts and polyester based high gloss color coating topcoat for the glass fiber.
The fabric selection is for outdoor use.
Large furniture pieces like lounge sofas and sun beds can be easily adapted to the deck camber.
