Superyacht Jasmin II – a Cizgi Explorer Yacht

The Cizgi Yachts of Turkey are currently building the 42 meter yacht “Jasmin II”, which is to be launched in around 160 days in the Mediterranean.

Superyacht JASMIN II is a new modern 42 meter explorer style motor yacht which was esigned by Vripak and is currently under construction at the Cizgi Shipyard in Turkey. The building of yacht JASMIN II is progressing well and she is expected to be launched in the Summer of 2011.

Yacht Jasmin II is the successor to the first boat, Jasmin, which is a 37 meter expedition charter yacht which as built by RMK. The new Jasmin II yacht has an overall beam of just over 9 meters and a draft of 2.72-meters. A designed weight of 480 tonnes means she is under the crucial 500 tons mark.

The Jasmin II yacht has been constructed with a steel hull as matched with a mostly aluminium superstructure which also makes some use of light weight composite materials. The yacht’s interior has been designed by the well known interior design company of Art Line Studios. Ten guests will be able to be accommodated in the five available staterooms, including the owners’ master stateroom.

M/Y Jasmin II is powered by twin 737 horse power engines providing an expected top speed of 13 knots.  She has been built to ABS class and LY2 code.
