Karpaz Gate Marina in Northern Cyprus, a breath-taking Eastern Mediterranean yacht holiday destination, is welcoming guests to celebrate Christmas and the New Year at the luxury venue on the Karpaz Peninsula. The 5 Gold Anchor-rated superyacht marina has unveiled a series of special events for the whole family to enjoy, as well as overnight accommodation packages at a nearby hotel and complimentary shuttle service to and from the marina.

Running from Wednesday, December 24 to Sunday, January 4, ‘Festive Week at the Marina’ includes dinner, brunch and BBQs at marina restaurant Hemingway’s, live music, movies and special events for children at the marina’s Mini Mariners Club.
The festivities begin on Christmas Eve with Christmas Dinner at Hemingway’s with live music from pianist Soyhan Bilgeer and guitarist Mete Denizer, starting at 20:00pm. The set menu price for the five-course dinner with house wine or Raki is 100TL per person and 30TL for children. For visitors who wish to use the bar and enjoy an evening of live music, tickets are available for 25TL. At the Mini Mariners Club, entry is free to watch Tom & Jerry cartoons with complimentary popcorn.
On Friday, December 26th, the Sunset BBQ at Hemingway’s starts at 19.30pm. The set menu price is 70TL per person.
Entry is free during the weekend to a Nuri Bilge Ceylan Movie Festival on both Saturday and Sunday, December 27th and 28th. On Saturday, the movies are ‘Üç Maymun’ (Three Monkeys) and ‘Mayis Sikintisi’ (Clouds of May), which are being shown at 16:00pm and 18:00pm. On Sunday, Karpaz Gate Marina is screening ‘Bir Zamanlar Anadolu’da’ (Once Upon a Time in Anatolia) and ‘Uzak’ (The Distant), starting at 16:00pm and 19:00pm. Popcorn is complimentary.
There is a Special Movie Night on Tuesday, December 30th at the marina with the screening of ‘New Year’s Eve’, with Robert De Niro and Sara Jessica Parker. The movie begins at 19:00pm, with free entry and popcorn.
The New Year’s Dinner and Party at Hemingway’s on Wednesday, December 31st features live music from Çagla The Band and DJ Hasan Efe. Starting at 20:00pm, the set menu is priced at 125TL per person and 40TL for children or there are tickets for 30TL per person for those wishing to attend the party only. For the youngsters, entry is free to watch Tom & Jerry cartoons with complimentary popcorn at the Mini Mariners Club.
Starting at 10:00am the following day on Thursday, January 1st, Hemingway’s is hosting a New Year’s Brunch, and then on Friday, January 2nd, the Sunset BBQ at Hemingway’s starts at 19.30pm with a set menu price of 70TL per person.
Children and their parents are invited to a screening of the animation ‘Polar Express’ on Saturday, January 3rd, starting at 12:00. Then on Sunday, January 4th at 12:00, the animation ‘Arthur Christmas’ is showing. Both of the movies are at the Mini Mariners Club, with free entry and popcorn.
