Representing the most recent evolutions of the stylistic and technological innovation of the yachts from the Erbusco shipyard, the GT (Gran Turismo) yacht tender was presented at the 2012 Cannes Boat Show. GT boat was unveiled together with BELLAVISTA yacht tender as two special editions of the Maxi Dolphin MD51 Power boat.

The new designs are a product of the valuable partnership between Dobroserdov Design and Maxi Dolphin. Scale models of the boats were on show at the Maxi Dolphin stand along Quai Saint Pierre (QSP104).

With the MD51 Power GT (Gran Turismo) yacht tender, Maxi Dolphin combines high technology, a characteristic of MD, with an in-depth exploration of style. The result is a motor yacht that stands out for its extremely tenacious lines, reminiscent of racing yachts as the “GT” name suggests (in contrast with the Bellavista variant), which recall the trim of a sports car both in terms of its youthful and “biting” colours and its high-tech materials and layout.

The colours of the GT yacht tender model are metallic: light blue, dark blue and orange, with decorative stripes and circular numbers just like those used by race cars. The wood used is fine teak. The sofas, extremely modern and sophisticated, are covered with quilted leather in sand and orange shades.

The interiors are wooden, painted in a refined ice white shade, with inserts in carbon fibre or titanium. The interior sofas will be in fine Alcantara, either orange or tobacco in colour. The floor will be in leather in a natural hide shade. The hi-tech kitchen surfaces are in brushed stainless steel, as are the basins and the handles. The bathroom surfaces are available in carbon fibre or black glass, all of which references to the best-known racing cars.

Both editions were entirely created using the Sprint technology to obtain extremely robust motor yachts of a contained weight that make it possible to install engines of a lower capacity to those normally used in yachts of this size, thus guaranteeing a notable reduction in consumption: both the BELLAVISTA  and the GT models have two 435hp Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines.

This revolutionary propulsion system, already used in the MD51 Power yacht tender and the MD53 yacht tender, guarantees a higher top speed, greater acceleration and improved performances with an incredible increase in efficiency compared with inboard engine systems.
