The Singapore Yacht Show is Asia’s premier luxury lifestyle and boating event and is returning this April 11th-14th for the 9th edition at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.
The event commences on the 10th of April in the evening with a black-tie dinner at the Capitol Theatre, where the elegance of the 1920s will become the backdrop for a gathering between the industry’s biggest names and VIP guests from across the world. During the occasion, there will be a champagne reception followed by a lavish four-course meal with a series of performances followed by the highlight of the evening: The Asia Boating Awards.
The Singapore Yacht Show 2019 will give yachting and watersports enthusiasts the chance to view and compare more luxury yachts on display than anywhere else in the region, with superyacht builders, product manufacturers and a massive selection of luxury brands accessible to visitors. The four-day event is also an excellent opportunity to attend product launches and peruse the latest design concepts and innovations before they enter the larger market.
Sixteen vessels will also be making their Asian premieres at the Singapore Yacht Show, of particular note being the SANLORENZO SD126, the SANLORENZO SL86 and the AZIMUT GRANDE 25 METRI, which made its public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September last year. The FERRETTI YACHTS 920 MAXI FLYBRIDGE, SUNSEEKER 76 and PRINCESS Y85 are also representing their respective international shipyards as they make their Asian debut.
Andy Treadwell, CEO of Verventia Pte Ltd., the organisers for the Singapore Yacht Show said of the upcoming 2019 edition:
“The fact that so many world-leading boating brands have once again chosen the Singapore Yacht Show 2019 as the platform from which to launch their latest models into the Asian market is extremely gratifying. It’s actually an indictment of the runaway success of last year’s SYS, at which all of our biggest exhibitors made record sales.”
Among the displays will be the Floating Leisure Hub, centrally located within the marina and featuring a 10m/32.8ft-long floating swimming pool while demonstrations will be held for the latest personal watercraft and toys, including tenders, submersibles, fishing equipment and drones.
Yacht owners will also have the chance to personalise their interiors and pick up the latest accessories for the upcoming summer season with a choice selection of artwork, jewellery, watches and other items for purchase.
