Numarine has announced the launch of its second full-displacement NUMARINE 26XP, which has been designed with a bulbous bow and special 16m/52ft flybridge covering two-thirds of the hull’s length and creating 55m/592ft of space.

Modern inside and out, the naval architecture comes from long-term collaborator Umberto Tagliavini with interior and exterior styling from Can Yalman, another of Numarine’s trusted partners. Slanted windows further emphasise the angle of her bow and shares features with the shipyard’s larger NUMARINE 32XP model, first launched in the summer of 2017.

As an advantage of the smaller size, the NUMARINE 26XP is capable of mooring in shallow anchorages close to private beaches while maintaining oceangoing capabilities.

The flybridge, in particular, is one of the second mode’s outstanding characteristics, providing room for a 5.5m/18ft tender, uninterrupted views from the aft sun loungers and a forward dining area.

The lower deck hosts four large guest cabins below deck, including a sizeable Master suite amidships with its own starboard study, a port-side lounge and an impressive bathroom. The two VIP staterooms and a twin cabin also have en-suite facilities and also offer guests the latest modern comforts.

The main salon uses the full-height windows to connect the interior to the scenic surroundings while infusing the space with natural light. A C-shaped sofa and additional settee are placed aft to be close to the exterior relaxation area, where there are an alfresco dining space and a broad sun pad close to the stern. The salon also contains a formal dining area, which is placed forward with the galley opposite.

As an alternative relaxation and casual dining area, the bow is fitted with three large sofas for comfort and privacy while admiring the view.

“The Hull #2 of the 26XP is specially designed for its owner,” Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine said of the recently launched explorer yacht. “The new yacht has our ‘silent package’ with a lithium-Ion battery system allowing all necessary onboard systems including air-conditioning to run without generators for up to 12 hours, silence on-board to enjoy the most beautiful island bays or to sleep peacefully while being rocked by the sea.”

Using the expertise of long-term partners Silent Line, Numarine has managed to reduce the noise of all onboard systems, and while the engines are running the Owner’s cabin receives only 55 dB at cruising speed, and 30 dB at anchor.

The second NUMARINE 26XP will be capable of a top speed of 13.5 knots with a cruising speed of 9 knots. At an economical speed of 8 knots, she is capable of cruising for 3,000 nautical miles.

Two more NUMARINE 26XP hulls are due to launch at the end of 2018 and both will also have full-displacement hulls.
