Nauta Yachts has announced their latest design concept, the NAUTA 78M SLIPSTREAM superyacht, developed and engineered to such an extent as to make her ready for construction bidding purposes.

The philosophy behind the design called for light and airy interiors, spacious outdoor social areas and a connection not just with the environment but with life on board, flowing inside and out.

The patented beach club is one of the most notable features on board and one of the first visitors are likely to encounter: The bulwarks fold down to greatly expand the outdoor area and join with the swim platform to become ‘The Island’, a 280m²/3013.9ft², 270° view terrace with a sea pool at its centre. When not in use, the bottom of the sea pool can be lifted using a hydraulic mechanism to lie flush with the rest of the deck.

The beach club itself is a mesmerising space with a ‘Nemo’ lounge designed with glass that descends below the waterline, where guests can watch the marine life while savouring a cocktail from the bar.

A laid-back alfresco lounge is created on the main deck aft beneath the upper deck overhang, and sofa/sunbeds line the stern where guests can rest in tranquillity.

The upper deck aft places plenty of plush seating around a central fire pit, where guests can enjoy a glass of wine and conversation under the stars. The interior is dedicated to the Owner’s accommodation which consists of a private salon with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and a bedroom featuring a king-sized bed.

The foredeck provides another lounge on this level, with a spa pool for cooling off in the hot weather and a flush helideck that can be used for exercise or sunbathing. A recessed ‘infinity nest’ can also be found in the bow.

The bridge deck has a more intimate setting of sunbeds and armchairs for quiet days spent in the sunshine, while the sundeck is part shade, part sunshine forward and aft, providing sunbathing, alfresco dining and lounging all in one area.

The engineering has received just as much meticulous attention as the design, and the diesel-electric propulsion with fixed drive shafts produces a top speed of 17 knots with a vast cruising range over 5,000 nautical miles at an economical speed of 12 knots.

The accommodation is designed to sleep up to 12 guests across 6 en-suite cabins, with up to 23 crew and staff on board for expertly executed parties and adventures across the world.

Amongst the potential collection of water toys and tenders, NAUTA 78M SLIPSTREAM has room for:

  • 1 x Limousine tender 10m
  • 1 x fast RIB 9m
  • 2 x rescue tenders
  • 2 x Seascape sailing boats 14’
  •  2 x Jetskis, as well as
  • Seabobs, kayaks, bikes, quad, kite surfs, windsurfs and more.
