Moonen shipyard unveiled a new yacht model: the 49.5m/162ft MONITO. This is the largest fast displacement motor yacht in Moonen’s Caribbean line.

Monito meets the requirements of a perfect luxury yacht for the Caribbean cruising. She features a total gross tonnage of less than 500 GT, while providing superb comfort and high quality. With the ‘enhanced length principle’ concept by Moonen, and an efficient bilge hull built in high tensile steel, this yacht is designed to Lloyds and MCA. Her naval architecture and engineering allow a maximum speed of 18.5 kn and a cruising speed of 16 kn. Thanks to her economic fuel consumption, Monito has a transatlantic range of 3900nm at 11 knots while carrying just 55,000 litres.

Interior layout is fabulous, with a 60 sq m full beam master suite with two bathrooms and a study. The lower deck comprises of 4 VIP cabins or 5 guests cabins – perfect for private luxury charters. There is a possibility to modify the interior layout to sleep 12 guests in 6 luxury suites.

Beach club at the stern of the yacht is customisable according to the owner’s preferences. The swim platform can be arranged in several ways, while the multifunctional transom space can be transformed into a spa, gym or a place for deep relaxation. Our R&D wizards are working on ways to use the tender bay as a saltwater pool. Add in the sun deck and the Monito has 350m² of exterior teak deck areas plus the option to install four external bars.
