Scheduled for launch by Erbusco Shipyard in May 2013, Maxi Dolphin, the builder with more than twenty years of experience in the international nautical market, is expanding its production in the sailing world with the building of the 100-foot super technological FC100 superyacht. The hull as well as waterline of the sailing yacht FC100 were developed by the French naval architects Finot-Conq, a trustworthy guarantee in the international field of custom racing sail boats and fast cruisers. And it was the very same architects Finot-Conq who defined this spectacular vessel as “the fastest 100-foot cruiser”.

The interior concept of the FC100 superyacht was designed by Pierre Frutschi, developed and created through the Maxi Dolphin MD design office project, in close collaboration with the owner.

The elegantly minimalist interiors of the innovative luxury yacht FC100 playfully appear in shades of matt white and polished black. The surfaces and the strip of the exposed hull, with a polished black lacquer finish, create a refined contrast with the white opaque surfaces. The chromatic difference gives the internal layout an incredible mirror effect that expands the perception of the space.

The environments, enriched by the reflections and strokes of light from the polished black finish, have an extremely elegant allure. The lighting is indirect, enhancing the play of polished-matt colours of black and white, making the spaces even more bright and spacious.

The cabins are fitted with floors in ultra-light, thin carpet to meet the owner’s need for comfort without compromising the boat’s sporty appearance and incredible lightness. The chromatic choice of the black and white striped carpet articulates and measures the space.

The colour of the hull also appears in various interior details such as the strips of the shutters or certain furnishing elements (chairs, covers, cushions).

The bathroom countertops are in carbon, like the shower seat and the surface of the built-in tub, consistently highlighting the “racing” style of the FC100 yacht. The areas are separated by refined walls in matt Plexiglas, creating the perception of a generous space while defining and protecting the area.

The total weight of the 100ft superyacht FC100 does not exceed 51 Tons – this is the real challenge of the designers and the boatyard that are fully committed to the technological research of materials and construction.
