We are excited to share the progress made with mega yacht Y721, now thought to be named KORU. The 127m (416’8″) Oceanco yacht was moved from the shipyard’s facility in Alblasserdam to her next home in Rotterdam in classic Dutch style … through the country’s canals.

Believed to be built for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, KORU has now been fitted with her three 65m + masts and is starting to reveal her fabulous features, including an aft deck pool and vast sun deck. Rumours still abound that she will be accompanied by a support vessel on her travels around the world.

The KORU is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling silver fern frond. It is an integral symbol in Māori art, where it symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace.

Once delivered, the already iconic KORU (Y721) will become the largest Dutch-built yacht in the world and the flagship vessel for Oceanco. She is due for delivery in 2023 so is certain to begin sea trials soon.

We are waiting with bated breath and will update you as soon as she is spotted.
