Renowned interior design studio Design Unlimited has been invited by Johnson Yachts to customise the interiors for the shipyard’s new flagship motor yacht, JOHNSON 115 as well as the JOHNSON 70 motor yacht, both of which are now in build.

Johnson 115 superyacht

Created by Dixon Yacht Design, the JOHNSON 115 boasts a beautiful and clean modern outline featuring a plumb bow and extensive use of glazing in the bulwarks to enhance guest connection with the marine environment.

Saloon and dining area

Known for styling recent sailing yachts PINK GIN VI and WINWIN, Design Unlimited has chosen a calming and sophisticated palette for the JOHNSON 115, which was created with laid-back socialising with family and friends in mind and all shared indoor areas provide easy access to the outdoor spaces. The main salon has received a modern update to timeless styling, using mid-to-light toned wooden panelling and neutral furnishings where guests can sink in and watch a film together in the evenings, or have refreshments and take in the views while cruising between destinations. The formal dining area is ready to cater to special celebrations, and a divider separates the two sections while maintaining a flowing layout.

The sky lounge is equally as versatile and boasts a port-side lounge that receives excellent lighting and views from the nearby windows, a bar opposite and a drinks/games table behind. 

Two cabin layouts are available to Owners, who have the choice of five or six en-suite cabins and the ability to customise each room, however, Design Unlimited has selected the highest quality materials and finishes with attention to detail for a truly impressive result.

The JOHNSON 115 exterior provides plenty of sun-exposed and shaded guest areas, including a large foredeck and main deck aft, plus a beach club designed with a hydraulic swim platform.
