The Captain’s Tool Box App for iPhone, iPod or iPad is an essential application for any marine situation. Any yachtsman, weekend pleasure boater or the professional master mariner should not be without this application both on and off the water. The Captains Toolbox app replaces several books, manuals, study guides and other resources in one easy to use application.

All the data is stored on your apple device. Once installed, you do not need a cellular, WiFi or internet connection to access the resources, you can work off line.

Many Captains and yachts are turning to iPhone, iPod or iPad technology which is enabling information to be accessed easily in real time. Not only is this technology essential for captains but also for superyacht charterers who are able to read a selection of world newspapers via the ipad for example, without the need for large cumbersome printers.  Access to various high-tech systems via iPad is also possible as seen on the 2010 superyacht Solemates. The Ipad device on motor yacht Solemates controls the onboard entertainment, climate, lighting and blind systems and is even able summons crewmembers to bring canapés and refreshments.
