Wim van der Valk Continental Yachts is delighted to announce that the hull and superstructure of their largest project to date, the Continental Trawler 37M yacht, have been recently joined together. The hull and superstructure of motor yacht Trawler 37.00 have been sandblasted and preserved both internally as well as externally. She is scheduled for delivery in spring 2015.

Plumbing, piping and initial preparations for interior carpentry have already been started up.

Moreover the final interior design of superyacht Trawler 37.00 has been determined and approved. The classic (art nouveau inspired) Guido de Groot Design interior will be made of Entandrophragma cylindricum Sprague Mahogany combined with Mahogany Crotch and Madrona Burl inlays.

Her hull is equipped with the all new AntiRoll 2 axis retractable fin stabilizing system (the first yacht worldwide fitted with AntiRoll). As the owner was very open to adopt new and innovative features, he decided to implement this particular system.

The fins rotate during sailing (underway) and move up and down when moored or at anchor (zero-speed). The curved, high-aspect ratio fins reduce drag compared to conventional fin systems and have a positive effect on the fuel consumption.
