Hanse, Moody, Dehler and Fjord yachts, all part of the HanseGroup, have signed a new deal with Simrad Yachting and sister electronics brand Lowrance, both brands of the Navico group, to supply marine navigation equipment to a range of yachts throughout 2010/2011.

Both Simrad Yachting and Lowrance are market leaders in terms of product innovation and quality and have enjoyed an ongoing relationship in recent years. “Our previous experience over the last few years of collaboration has shown us that both know-how, reliability and quality, fit ideally to our industrialised production process,” said a spokesman of the HanseGroup.

CEO of Navico, Leif Ottosson, said: “The HanseGroup produces the ultimate in luxury lifestyle vessels, and we are delighted to be able to provide quality products to enhance their offering. Innovations such as the Broadband Radar were immediately recognised as the kind of technology that would enhance the customer experience.

“It is evident that the dedication to quality permeates throughout the entire Group. The chairman of the board, Michael Schmidt, is passionate about the details of the selection of products used in the boatbuilding process and is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction from each boat that leaves his shipyard”.
