The works at the marina are moving along swiftly with already 300 feet of the Main Pier installed and 100 feet of new docks arriving every week. Due to be completed in 2017, the Marina will provide the largest superyacht berths on the entire West Coast of Central America with modern facilities. Each yacht, including superyachts, will be provided with adequate shore power pedestals, high-speed internet and pump out facilities at the dock. The Golfito Marina Village will be capable of hosting yachts of all sizes already this September, however, should there be vessels interested in berthing in the Marina sooner, it can be arranged.

Phase One which will be completed within five months will have:
- 215 meter Main Pier that can accommodate yachts with alongside dockage in deep water up to 150 meters. Four more 100-meter finger piers will be built at the end of 2016 and early 2017.
- 52 side to berths ranging in size from 40’ to 150′ – to be completed within the next 2-3 months. Shore Power installation will be completed by MES by August.
- Water Taxi slips – 2-3 months
- Fishing tournament pier and facilities – 2-3 months
- 150 Meter long marina promenade – Completed within 1 month.
- Marina Village with shopping and restaurants – 5 months
- Service yard with a boat ramp and 45-ton travel lift – 3 months
on-shore Boat rack storage for boats up to 35′ – 3 months
265’ fuel dock with high-speed fuel pumps provides by Petroleum Marine – 2 months - Secured main entry with waterfalls, lagoons, bridge and a road that takes you to the docks. – 2 months
- Marina Entrance plaza. – 2 months
- Partial sandy beach – 4 months
- Infrastructure including electrical, cable, wifi, security, water, sewage pumping services, fire, and safety – 5 months
Construction of the luxury villas will commence in a few months.
