Global Boat Shipping (GBS) has recently loaded 4 luxury yachts in UK‘s Poole, heading to the popular summer yacht charter destination – the Mediterranean. The largest vessel was a 140-foot Sunseeker Predator 115 superyacht, accompanied by two 28M Sunseeker yachts, weighing 80t each. Poole is the home of luxury motorboat builder, Sunseeker. The yachts were loaded on board the MV „Eendracht“, a Dutch vessel chartered for this voyage. All yachts are scheduled for the Mediterranean. Two were transported to Nice, where they arrived last weekend. The other two are bound for Malta and expected to arrive in the middle of this week.

GBS Yacht Transport organized the transport, supervised the loading and a supercargo will also be present during discharging. Additionally GBS provided necessary cradles.

GBS Yacht Transport has substantially expanded its business this year and opened new offices in Hamburg, Genoa, Ft. Lauderdale and Vancouver. “We have a team of very experienced professionals and this latest transport shows our expertise in Load on / Load off services,” says Christian van Hoorn, Managing Director of GBS.

GBS Yacht Transport is part of EMS-Fehn-Group which gives GBS direct access to a fleet of cargo vessels and excellent contacts in the shipping and logistics industry. This allows GBS flexibility in offering Load on / Load off services as well as Float on / Float off services for super yachts. GBS offers clients a full package, which includes cradle systems, insurance and all handling.
