Flevo Ship Holland to launch 29m motor yacht BELLE DE JOUR at the end of March

The magnificent 29-metre motor yacht Belle de Jour is currently under construction at Flevo Ship Holland. Designed by naval architect Pieter Beeldsnijder – PB design of Edam, Belle de Jour yacht is a beautiful steel ‘pocket-size’ super yacht of 99 feet, featuring aluminium superstructure. She is set to be launched at the end of this month.

The luxurious Belle de Jour yacht with a contemporary and light oak interior provides the owner and his guests with ample room and excellent comfort.

On the main deck, there is a spacious bridge with a beautiful U-shaped seating for 8 persons, providing a special social aspect while sailing. The dashboard has 4 large screens giving a complete overview of all functions of the 29m superyacht Belle de Jour. Immediately thereafter, there is the saloon, divided in a middle and aft section.

In the middle section, there is a partly closed pantry with breakfast bar, on starboard a cosy L-shaped seating with an open fire and built-in piano. The aft section of the saloon has a panoramic view with electrically retractable windows that, depending on weather conditions, can be individually lowered or raised. The seating is U-shaped with one large table in the middle plus various small ones.

The owners cabin on the A-deck covers the entire beam of the Belle de Jour yacht and gives extra protection through – exclusively from the inside – lockable watertight bulkheads giving access to both the A-deck and the engine room. Beside a large master bed there is a walk-in closet, a comfortable seating corner, a spacious bathing room with extra shower, separated by large glass sliding doors. There are also two guest cabins in the prow, each with a bathroom, that can be transformed into a large suite through an electric sliding wall, with of course excellent isolation.

On the 29m motor yacht Belle de Jour deck, a fly-bridge with a revolving and lockable dashboard with incorporated handrail all around for extra safety can be found. The glass windscreen with stainless steel handrail gives extra protection. On port and starboard are two extended balconies to enjoy far horizons, also providing an excellent view while maneuvering in ports. On starboard one can find an electrically retractable sliding hatch that gives access to the stairways leading to the bridge.

Midships there is the mast with a fixed large round bimini with panoramic glass panels. On starboard a special space for a small car has been created, invisible from the outside by means of the wing mast. The U-shaped bench with table on the aft can be transformed into a sun deck. There is room for 2 tenders and it has a crane that can lift 1000 kg.

Crew quarters give direct access to the deck and engine room. The captain’s cabin has e desk and twin beds. Furthermore, there is a cabin for two crew members, an extra pantry with fridges and washing units and a shower.

Belle de Jour yacht is being built under specifications of Lloyd’s registry in steel and aluminum with Lloyd’s certification. The engine room will be installed according to the highest standards and houses two MAN 24 liter engines of 598 Hp each.

The luxury yacht Belle de Jour will be equipped with zero speed stabilizers, guaranteeing extra smooth sailing and high comfort while at anchor.
