Participation at the Bade I Bella boat show confirms Ferretti Yachts’ interest in the central-northern European market.

Ferretti Yachts, historical Ferretti Group brand which produces flybridge motor yachts measuring 15 to 27 metres, is taking part at the Copenhagen boat show “Bade I Bella” from 11th to 20th March 2011, through dealer Dreamline Yachts.

Over the past few years, the Copenhagen appointment has registered a consistent increase in both shipyard and visitor numbers, setting itself up as a new, promising, showcase for the nautical sector in northern and central Europe.

This year, Ferretti Yachts is showing its yachts at Bade I Bella, confirming its interest in this strategic market area. The latest model to be produced in the 50’ range, the Ferretti 500, is being presented to the Scandinavian market for the first time, but was originally displayed at the last international boat show in Genoa. In Copenhagen clients and visitors will be able to go on-board the Ferretti 500, the evolution of the well-known Ferretti 470 a bestseller in the Ferretti Yachts entry level range. They can then discover Ferretti Yachts’ excellence – a concentration of style, innovation and on-board comfort.

Like all the models in the Ferretti Yachts range, the Ferretti 500 is the result of a working relationship between Studio Zuccon International Project, the AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology, the naval research and design centre of Ferretti Group, and the team of architects and designers of Centro Stile Ferrettigroup.

Measuring over 15 metres in length and almost 5 in beam, the Ferretti 500 has kept some of the strong points of the entry level range models. She features solutions which are typical of larger yachts, and has further optimized the on-board space. The most apparent example of this is the position of the galley astern, in order to ensure greater comfort. Indeed, a single open space is created by opening the tilting window, which brings together the cockpit, galley and living area. This model is a perfect balance between interior and exterior, apparent from the extension of the cockpit surface which increases livability in this part of the yacht. Moreover, the new interior décor conveys a renewed sense of contemporary classicism in line with the whole Ferretti Yachts range. The Ferretti 500 has excellent performance and is fitted with twin 600hp Cummins engines that drive her to a top speed of 30 knots.

Alessandro Tirelli, Ferretti Yachts Brand Manager, commented, “We are immensely proud to be taking part at the Copenhagen Boat Show, an important showcase for the entire northern and central European market which is showing signs of recovery. The choice to display a model of 50 feet corresponds with the characteristics of the event which, in line with local taste, prefers yachts of this size. The Ferretti 500 was our “ambassador” at the Paris and Düsseldorf boat shows, too, which registered a positive trend in terms of visits and contacts. In Copenhagen, we consider the Ferretti 500 to be an important model for the north European market. This is also thanks to our important working relationship with dealer, Dreamline. The Ferretti 500 is particularly popular owing to her compact external line, and the contemporary classicism of her design combined with spacious interiors that are ideal for staying on-board for long periods while at sea, as is indeed typical in these countries”.
