Bermuda is everything a tropical island should be: Myriad secluded white and pink sand beaches, amazing snorkelling and Scuba diving sites, numerous activities on land and a wonderful selection of treats unique to this luxury yacht charter destination.

Its remoteness means that you will be sharing fewer choice destination with other tourists, and as a year-round destination, you can expect sunny skies even outside the summer season from May until October.

The gorgeous pink sand beaches beside clear turquoise waters are one of the highlights of Bermuda and what attracts many visitors in the first place. There are so many fantastic spots to choose from: John Smith’s Bay combines a beautiful beach with excellent Scuba diving opportunities not far from the shore. Here, encounter colourful parrotfish and impressive coral formations that create swim-throughs for a breath-taking up close experience.

Luxury beach holidays

Romantics will want to spend their time hand-in-hand roaming along Warwick Long Bay as the sunset tint the sands and water in fiery hues. More secluded spots can be found to the west, and examples include Jobson’s Cove and Astwood Cove. Their picture-perfect scenery will make a great memory of your Bermuda luxury yacht charter.

Although Elbow Beach lacks the pink sands of the aforementioned beaches, its glittering white dunes are still a stunning location for a family day at the beach. This location is less busy than the popular Horseshoe Bay Beach farther west, and is a great destination for snorkelling where the remains of a steam ship are still visible.

Vibrant Bermuda

Sometimes a couple of hours of wandering is the best way to experience island life and come across hidden gems: In the Devonshire and Paget Parishes alone there’s the 22-acre Arboretum, the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, Hungry Bay Nature Reserve and the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art. As lunchtime approaches guests can head into town for the variety of cafes and restaurants along the Hamilton Docks, or jump back on board for a lunch prepared by your professional chef as your Captain cruises to another incredible location for an afternoon of water sports.

Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse is a top attraction for its panoramic views, and its location close to Horseshoe Bay Beach means that you won’t have to wander far to fit it in.

The northwestern tip of Bermuda is an excellent place to pack in a lot of sights and shopping in a single afternoon – there’s the National Museum of Bermuda among the grassy knolls of the old fort, the John Faulkner Gallery for the works of a talented established local artist (and an ideal place to pick up a souvenir), the Clock Tower Shopping Mall and the famous Bermuda Rum Cake Company – a must-savour treat for all first-time visitors.

One of Bermuda’s most visited attractions is underground – The Crystal Caves and the Fantasy Caves. As the name suggests, the delicate rocks coating the cave walls sparkle as you pass by, and the clear pale blue pools have an ethereal quality compared to the hot world above. Its location close to the international airports means that it can be one of the first sights to cross off your list, or you can save what is arguably the best attraction until last before your flight back home.

Jacuzzi onboard Lady S

Luxury charter yacht LADY S has recently been cruising in Bermuda, and Captain Sally Ann Konigkramer was awed by the natural beauty on display:

“Each day I spent at anchor with guests, I witnessed the phenomenal beauty this island holds which is yet to be fully discovered by the yachting industry. The beaches offer the perfect combination of glass blue water and sandy bottoms, there are countless reefs and wrecks ready to be discovered and vast amounts of sea life to delight curious underwater explorers. With one main island and 180 smaller islands, there are countless adventures to be had in Bermuda.”

“One of my favorite anchorages was at a point off Nelly Island tucked between the Paradise Islands inside Bermuda. We had complete privacy and enjoyed our very own nature reserve right in front of us, along with a small hidden cove which our guests could check out at leisure. During the breath-taking sunset hours we were serenaded by the song of the local birds and were completely blown away by the potential and natural beauty this small island has to offer.”

Beautiful motor yacht Lady S has a variety of water toys

Motor yacht LADY S is perfectly equipped for cruising between these destinations and exploring above and below the waves – her large selection of water toys includes Scuba diving equipment, jet skis, Seabobs, snorkelling equipment, fishing gear and inflatable and towable toys for plenty of options wherever your group travels.

The timeless interiors offer a laid-back environment suited to guests of any age, and the accommodation sleeps 10 guests over 5 cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins, all with TV entertainment and en-suite facilities.

The abundance of outdoor space is perfect for savouring the sunshine and the panoramic views: The main deck aft has a grand alfresco dining table beneath a bimini shade. The sundeck is ready to host a social occasion in the sunshine or under the stars, with a sundeck Jacuzzi, sunbeds, a large bar and plenty of seating under the canvas.
