She boasts an exterior design by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architects, who worked in collaboration with Damen’s in-house engineering team to produce her ice-breaking IMO Polar Code compliant hull. She is designed for extensive cruising and has supplies capable of sustaining everyone on board for 40 days before reaching the next port. On board is a helipad and hangar capable of storing both helicopters, a submersible, numerous tenders and a massive selection of water toys. Scuba dive enthusiasts will be able to explore each region’s wonders at their leisure with the dive centre on board, and a decompression chamber is on hand for quick response to emergency situations.

The accommodation sleeps a total of 12 guests across six en-suite cabins: 2 Master suites, a VIP stateroom and 3 further guest cabins.

LA DATCHA is expected to be delivered to her Owner in September, following which she will be available for charter in the Mediterranean and then the Indian Ocean before cruising to Russia in March 2021. She is currently being taken to the city facility for outfitting before going on display at the Private View event, also in September.
