Exceptional presentation of CMC Marine at the next Genoa Boat Show 2011. The company will exhibit as world premiere the new Stabilis Electra 20BR and 22BR, the new model of electric actuator fin stabilizer. These two new models joins the  16BR  and 18BR model, already installed on several vessels built from prestigious Italian shipyards (Sanlorenzo, Benetti, Dominator, Cantiere delle Marche, Moonen, etc).  Even the 20BR and 22BR as the smaller model, are a worldwide patent of CMC Marine. These new actuators complete the range of Electrical Stabilizer from CMC Marine that now can offer the widest range of fin stabilizer for vessels up to 60+ m continuing its growth phase as new trend setter in the field of active fin stabilization system producer..

CMC Marine continues its growth phase as new trend setters in the field of fin stabilization. The company headed by the engineer Alessandro Cappiello, after the success of the smaller Stabilis Electra (16BR and 18BR models), the world’s first and only fin stabilizer with electrical actuator, that has revolutionized the standards of ship stabilization, now can offer to the market a complete range of stabilizers also for boats from 30 metres up. Not later than two months ago, the CMC Marine announced orders for 20 electrical stabilization systems from May 2010 to June 2011 installed on vessels of prestige as Sanlorenzo 72 yacht, charter yacht Dominator 780, Cantiere delle Marche’s Darwin 86, Benetti Delfino 93, Moonen 92 Alu or Sanlorenzo 108 yacht, replacing the traditional hydraulic system. With the two new models 20BR and 22BR,  CMC Marine can now offer to the market the electrical stabilization system also for larger boats. In fact, these actuators works with stabilizer fins sizes ranging from 1.60 m to 2.40 m, that means these models are applicable for yachts of 60 meters and up. In addition, the verified  benefits of the electrical stabilizer fins are possibly more apparent on larger fin sizes:

  • • Higher rotation speed which greatly improves the stabilization anchor
  • • No significant loss of power that means the need of installed power is lower
  • • Significant reduction of the absorbed power (even more than 50%)
  • • Reduced weight of the actuator
  • • Reduced volumes
  • • High reduction of the system noise
  • • Easier installation with the consequent drastic reduction for the shipyard in installation cost and times.
  • • High system reliability
  • • Simplified maintenance.
