It has been a busy year for Solent Refit as the development of the facilities for superyachts has continued during the year. New roofs have improved ambiance inside the large working sheds, and a large 10 metre extension has been built for the horizontal slipway, capable of lifting up to 1500 tons. The extension will permit longer vessels measuring up to 60 metres in length to be slipped.
