Commencing from Antwerp via Southampton in late August, the vessel will take between 35 and 45 days to reach Sydney and Brisbane. Other sailings to Australia have been scheduled from Palma de Mallorca and Genoa which will begin loading mid-September. A sailing will depart Singapore in mid-October, while from the USA, sailing is scheduled from Newport and Fort Lauderdale in early October. A return trip from Sydney and Brisbane to West Palm Beach will start loading mid-January 2015.

The new sailings have been arranged in conjunction with Peters & May’s exclusive Australian agent Aurora Global Logistics, while the US route will be managed between Peters & May’s new premises in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the Peters & May Head Office in the UK.

Robert Blades, Peters & May Global Sales & Marketing Director, commented, “Over the past year we have noticed a significant increase in enquiries for these routes. Working closely with our well established partners in Australia, Aurora Global Logistics, we have put in place a comprehensive schedule from Northern Europe to Australia’s East Coast. With the experience we have in moving an infinite variety of vessels we are confident these services will become annual successes for Aurora, Peters & May and our customers.”

Jason Roberts, Marketing Director of Aurora Logistics, commented, “As part of the Peters & May network we are excited to offer the Australian marine industry a high level, part charter option. There are very few reliable international yacht transport services available in the trade routes between Australia, Europe and the USA, therefore with the implementation of these part charter sailings, both Aurora and Peters & May are able to offer an alternative transport option for yacht owners, dealers, race yachts and commercial craft alike.”
