The first night of the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous started with a bang. The late afternoon shower threatened to dampen the spirits, however failed completely. Being hosted by Angsana Laguna and its beautiful surroundings, the first day of Asia Superyacht Rendezvous was marked by great enthusiasm.

While walking around the resort, the guests were simply relaxing, taking strolls in the sun and enjoying the pool, which manages to curve around corners and under small bridges. There is definitely a lot of fun to be had by all who jump in.
The event began by welcoming local and international sponsors, media and guests, as well as the captains and owners of all the participating yachts to Bang Thao Bay. The event then went on with guests to fight the waves and board speedboats to the Indonesian style Phinisi, charter yacht Silolona for the opening cocktail party.
As the guests arrived on board Silolona superyacht, they were greeted by the enthusiastic crew, none of whom were missing a smile. The evening was filled with traditional Indonesian canapes, which were absolutely magnificent and everywhere one looked, he would get the feeling as though he was in Indonesia itself.
The hospitality was simply spectacular. The crew filled the evening with their traditional music by playing their various instruments and creating a genuinely lovely atmosphere. Luxury yacht Silolona most certainly know how to entertain and keep guests satisfied with her captivating traditional wooden decor, all of which have their own story to tell.
As the second day commences, the guests get ready for a day under the clear blue sky for some racing. Start boat Maverick went out early with the race officials on board and the sail boats all followed. Charter yacht Shamoun, Twizzle superyacht, Asia, sailing yacht Yanneke Too, charter yacht Si Datu Bua and Silolona shall race for the win around Bang Thao Bay. All in the name of fun, obviously! Tonight the guests head to Xana Beach Club to see which team can construct and blow their model sail boat along the metal gutters using the air from their lungs as wind. This is always a lot of fun and the evening will be filled with laughter and excitement.
Tomorrow the guests head out for another day of sailing around the bay, followed by a parade where they are able to admire all the participating yachts, both sail and motor, at the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous. Whilst walking along the shore, the guests have been looking from afar, with a view that is simply heavenly. All the various shapes and sizes of the attending yachts shows how they are all unique in their own way.
Everybody looks forward to another day filled with blue skies tomorrow, the final day, but not the last, as once the 12th Asia Superyacht Rendezvous draws to a close, the preparations for the 13th year begins.
