The 23m coastal cruiser motor yacht LA PALOMA was launched at the Turkish shipyard Alia Yachts in Antalya following only a year-long construction. She will head off onto her sea trials in a week’s time before her scheduled delivery to the owner.
LA PALOMA was constructed in epoxy composites with carbon fibre reinforcement, featuring beautiful, striking dark metallic grey hull and superstructure. Her modern interior design was created by Alia Yachts with exteriors by Selahattin Uldas of Uldas Design in Istanbul. Naval architecture is by Bill Dixon of Britain with structural engineering by ASTA Engineering.
This modern weekend-runabout boat has a comfortable saloon and a wheelhouse on the main deck, with two ensuite cabins below deck which include one owner’s suite amidships and a VIP stateroom forward. There is also a compact galley and a daybed. If needed, the TV lounge can be converted into further accommodation.
The crew cabin is placed forward of the engine compartment while the tender garage has been placed under the aft deck and can be accessed through the lifting transom steps. There is a great area for sunbathing both on the foredeck as well as aft.
LA PALOMA is fitted with two Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines, reaching a top speed of 31 knots, with a range of 280 nautical miles at cruising speed.
