Cantiere delle Marche has announced the sale of a Flexplorer 142 model, which is to be named explorer yacht MAVERICK, to an experienced German Owner.
E/Y MAVERICK is the second yacht sold in the Flexplorer class, following on from the recently delivered Flexplorer 130 yacht AURELIA. The exterior styling from Hydro Tec combines a tough displacement hull with bold lines and on-trend accents in white to compliment her steel grey hull and teak decking. Of note is the hull ‘ice belt’, which sits 400mm above and below the waterline for navigation through the topmost latitudes.
The interiors come from Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini and feature an asymmetrical layout in the main salon, a lower deck beach club with gym, sauna and diving centre, and accommodation comprised of two Master suites – one on the main deck forward and another on the upper deck. The lower deck also has four more guest en-suite cabins, providing for up to 13 guests who will be served by a crew of six.
The exteriors areas include a sizable cockpit, an infinity pool aft and an A-frame crane for the launch and retrieval of the tender over the stern.
E/Y MAVERICK comes with an extensive cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles at an economical 10 knots, and the twin MTU 10V 2000 M72 engines of 900 kW each draw on 60,000-litre fuel tanks for a top speed of 14 knots.
