74m Superyacht Amels 242 Emerges from Shed

The new 74-metre superyacht Amels 242, which has been referred to as Project 7402, emerged from the shed at the shipbuilder’s facilities in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. This is the second yacht from the Amels Limited Edition 242 line, which is a follow-up to the 2016 Plvs Vltra.

The team of bespoke designers developed striking exterior and sophisticated interior styling of Project 7402. Her smooth lines were drawn by Tim Heywood, while Winch Design worked on the design of indoor living spaces.

Luxury features of this superyacht include generous outdoor spaces at the aft, with a swimming pool and a helipad.

The owner’s suite boasts special addition to the layout of the cabin: there is a superyacht spa area, ideal for relaxation after a long day exploring the finest yachting grounds. Amels 242 Project 7402 sleeps 12 guests. Further 5 guest cabins are with en-suite facilities and tasteful furnishing.

This beautiful 4-deck superyacht has a fuel capacity of 155,000 litres allowing a maximum cruising range of 5,000 nm at 12.5 kn.

The delivery of Project 7402 is scheduled for summer 2017.
