68.2m Explorer superyacht PROJECT RAGNAR construction update

Originally launched in 2012 as SANABORG the 68.2m explorer superyacht PROJECT RAGNAR is undergoing an extensive refit at Icon Yachts.

Construction update on Project Ragnar

This icebreaker is currently being refitted to the design by RWD, who created both exterior profile and interiors.

As a true explorer, PROJECT RAGNAR will have plenty of space to store a Eurocopter EC145 helicopter, Luxury Ripsaw EV2 and two 8m tenders, a submarine and a laser sailing boat. With the new Ice Class A1 hull, the yacht will be able to cruise in high latitude areas and will be ready for cruising around the world.

 

Some notable features of PROJECT RAGNAR include an on-deck Jacuzzi, swimming pool, massage room and a snow room.

Accommodation on board will be offered up to 16 guests. The layout includes two owner’s cabins and four guest cabins.

Project Ragnar will feature interiors by RWD

Powered by two PC5 diesel-electric pod-drive engines will provide a cruising range of 6,000 nm at the cruising speed.
