Sailing yacht MAXIMUS, previously known as Project 3090, made her debut in advance of the official launch. Designed as a 59m (193’6”) ketch-rigged sailing yacht with naval architecture by Germán Frers, she has been described by Vitters as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing”. She features twin rudders and a lifting keel with a draft ranging from five to eight metres.

Images released by the shipyard reveal a flush deck and raised deckhouse giving her a classic look, plus wraparound windows in the salon offering panoramic views. She began construction in the summer of 2021 and was first glimpsed as she left the shed in Zwartsluis for rotation. The launch marks a significant milestone before her sea trials and racing debut in 2024.
