The 52nd Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held from 27th through to 31st of October, 2011 is getting closer and over the next few weeks we will be publishing updates on what to expect from exhibitors at this year’s show.

New in Boats and Yachts

Overmarine – will debut the Mangusta 92′.

Viking Sport Cruisers/Princess Yachts – the Princess 60 will make its U.S. debut and the Princess 64 will make its Fort Lauderdale debut.

Marlow Yachts Limited, Inc. – will offer three new Marlow Explorer models – 97E, 70E, 57E and the Marlow Voyager 76E LR.

Cobalt Boats – will offer four new models from 20′ to 30′.

New in Yachting and Fishing Accessories

E.J. Schrader Mattress Co. – will introduce the first custom fit Tempur-Pedic mattresses for the marine industry.

Showboat Custom Coating, Inc. – will introduce SB-230, a clear high gloss ceramic coating that chemically bonds to polished and anodized metal.

UMT International – will offer its new carbon fiber boarding stairs.

Frigibar Industries, Inc. – will offer a redesigned 24 F/R, front-load freezer/refrigerator.

Chelsea Clock – will debut its new Voyager Collection of nautical clocks and barometers, especially designed and engineered for display on boats where space may be limited.

Fairhaven Shipyard Companies, Inc. – will introduce its new 400 metric ton Travelift.

Dometic Group Marine Division – will offer the new Eskimo Ice EI400D.

Brownie’s YachtDiver – will debut the Seadoo RS Series dive scooter.

Red Eye Trolling Lures – will offer new lure sets

New in Electronics

WESMAR – will introduce a digital at-anchor stabilizer system and the HD825 sonar for cruising, navigation and sport fishing.

Maretron LLP – will introduce its FFM100 fuel flow monitor, the VDR100 vessel data recorder (black box) and Dedicated Hosting Services, which allow for remote off-the-vessel control and monitoring via the internet.

GOST by Paradox Marine – which provides state-of-the-art wireless security, will debut its new control head unit, the GOST Phantom.  Also new from GOST is the Watch HD surveillance system, the Nav-Tracker website and the NT-Evolution, integrating all systems to provide complete vessel protection.

New in Power

Regan Equipment – will offer its micro turbine driven marine generator as a modular unit making it more accessible to the marketplace.

Phasor Marine – will offer ignition protection on models 7.0, 8.0, 10.0 and 120kw, allowing their use in gasoline powered vessels.

New “Green” Tech and Accessories

Florida Yacht Interiors – will offer environmentally friendly materials including carpeting and upholstery.

Ella Vickers Recycled – will offer several new eco-friendly designs made from recycled sailcloth including travel items, décor, accessories and handbags.

New in Marine Related Real Estate

Bahia Lomas Estates and Marina – A full service marina located in Bocas Del Toro, Panama offers affordable slip ownership with state-of-the-industry floating concrete docks in a location out of the Hurricane Belt.
