New 40m modern classic sailing yacht ZanZiba project sold and almost completed

Currently nearing her completion at Archipelago Yachts in Turkey, the all-new 40-metre modern classic sailing yacht ZanZiba project has been successfully sold to a new Owner. Superyacht ZanZiba was originally ordered by a British businessman and designed by David Wright Design in England.

Once completed, ZanZibar yacht will boast light and exceptionally spacious interiors, created in colonial style with teak, burr oak and zebrano veneers, accented by bronze and nickel fittings to evoke a rich effect, dominated by natural tones reminiscent of an earlier and more leisured era. Accommodation will be provided to 14 guests in 6 comfortable en-suite cabins, including two master doubles, two master twins, one double with an additional single bunk and a twin with a Pullman berth. There will be space for a crew of 8 members.

Made of wood, the 40-metre luxury yacht ZanZiba will be powered by twin Volvo D-12 diesel engines, delivering her a top speed of 13 knots. She will be comfortably cruise at 10 knots.
