36m motor yacht Lars was originally built by Made Shipyards in 1995 as the ice classed ocean going tug boat Zeemeeuw – a project never completed, but kept in good conditions in a Dutch harbor. On request of a client to find a suitable vessel to be converted into an ice going explorer for a journey all the way up North, the Lars superyacht was born, re-designed by renowned Felix Buytendijk Yacht Design.

The luxury yacht Lars (ex Zeemeeuw) was purchased at the end of 2010 and delivered after an extensive refit to her Owner in February 2012.

In a year time a complete engine room was equipped and all systems like heating, airhandling, electricity, electronics, and many others were engineered and installed.

The superstructure was reshaped, rebuild, the empty shell isolated and equipped with a luxurious interior that gives accommodation to 8 guests with a crew of 5.

The 36m superyacht Lars is at the moment North of Bergen, Norway with plans to travel to Spitsbergen, the West coast of Greenland and Iceland.
