Boksa Marine Design, Inc. a full service design, naval architecture and marine engineering firm, will again aim their efforts toward the custom and semi-custom yacht industries with the release of a 32m Raised Pilothouse motoryacht concept.

“Due to the slowdown in the yacht industry, for the past several years we have been concentrating on building our presence in the commercial marine market. With that effort well underway, and in anticipation of the rebuilding of the yacht industry, we are again directing efforts there,” commented naval architect and founder of BMD, Nicholas Boksa.

BMD 105 Raised Pilothouse Motor Yacht is the result of many years of listening to the owner’s and operator’s desires. Many features and the functionality of a much larger tri-deck motor yacht are incorporated in the design of the BMD 105 ft. (32.0 m) Raised Pilothouse Motor Yacht offering more yacht for the money. It is designed to be built to classification society standards and can be MCA certified if necessary by the owner. The new 32m Boksa Raised Pilothouse motor yacht is expected to have a cruising speed of 22 knots, a top speed of 24 knots.

The BMD 105 Raised Pilothouse Motor Yacht will be able to accommodate up to 8 guests in a full-beam master suite on the main deck, plus a full beam VIP suite and another 2 cabins below deck, each with ensuite facilities. Accommodation for the 6 crew is located between the VIP suite and the engine room.

The salon and formal dining area on the main deck are adjoining and there will be an additional dining table in the galley. The exterior of the BMD 105 Raised Pilothouse Motor Yacht will feature a U shaped table for al fresco dining on the aft deck. The top deck houses the tender aft and features a fixed hard top providing shade for the bar area and a curved seating area forward. All the way forward is a single-seat helm area and an observation settee. There is additional seating with a table on the foredeck of the new 32m Boksa Raised Pilothouse.

Boksa Marine Design has been involved in the custom, semi-custom and production yacht industries since 1996 and has been involved with many successful projects with the world’s leading builders. Boksa Marine’s has an in-house capability and experience to handle design and engineering projects of any size. Beginning with the conceptual design phase, including exterior and interior styling, through detailed naval architecture and engineering, Boksa Marine Design will work with the vessel’s owners, crew and builders to achieve the owner’s dreams. Boksa added, “We are committed to being a one-stop shop for all styling and engineering services required for the development of a custom yacht.”
