The refit of the sailing yacht Vivid, which the Dutch shipyard Jongert Yachts started in September 2011, is well underway. The 2700M Vivid superyacht is scheduled to be re-launched by the end of May 2012.

The luxury yacht Vivid was stripped bare in order to service or replace all elements on board. All interior elements are currently being fitted back inside the yacht. Renewed interior design, a new teak deck and brilliant paintwork have made the yacht look brand-new again.
As soon as the 2700M superyacht Vivid is re-launched, she will set sail for Norway and then head across the ocean towards Antarctica. Over the past 10 years, Vivid has criss-crossed the world and been in every continent at least once. She is expected to at least double this performance in the coming years.

Although the fact that the refit of the Vivid yacht is nearing completion is good news, Jongert will miss the presence of the yacht’s crew. In addition to assisting the shipyard´s personnel on the project, they have also been taking care of the necessary lunch break entertainment – many Jongert employees as well as Vivid crew members are currently competing in the exciting remote-control sailing boat regatta.
