Oyster Yachts has kindly provided us with the possibility to share with you a great video below, showing the arrival of the Oyster 118 yacht hull moulds, which took place in early October at the foreshore of Lee-on-Solent’s former Royal Naval Air Station, HMS Daedalus. Due to be launched in spring 2018, the 35-metre sailing yacht Oyster 118-01 represents the largest vessel to be built at Oyster’s Southampton yard.

Designed in partnership with Humphreys Yacht Design, luxury yacht Oyster 118-01 is a new evolution of the Oyster/Humphreys plumb bowed, soft chined, twin rudder designs. She has grown naturally from the initially planned Oyster 115, and will be built to demanding DNV classification and MCA LY3 coding.
