Last week saw Azimut Yachts of Brazil unveil the new motor yacht Azimut 83 during an exclusive event, which also celebrated five years of the shipyard operation in the country, and was attended by the vice president of the Azimut-Benetti Group, Giovanna Vitelli. Measuring 25 meters in length, superyacht Azimut 83 represents the largest Azimut model ever produced in Brazil. Her exterior design is by Stefano Righini, while her interior design is by Salvagni Architetti.

During the ceremony, the CEO of Azimut in Brazil, Davide Breviglieri, commented on the brand’s growth in the country and some news. “During the five years of operation in Brazil, we increased from two to six our product range, we expanded the factory recently and invested on the professional market through courses crews. We are today the first shipyard in the country to receive ISO 9001 certification which ensures the quality of yachts produced in Brazil with the same Italian standard. Also we announced that our model Azimut 42, manufactured exclusively here and launched last year, becomes part of the global range of the Azimut-Benetti Group and will be sold in more than 68 countries. Its international debut will be during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at November. We also highlight the sales of 35 yachts during this year and the beginning of the expansion of our products to Latin America with the delivery of Azimut 60 for Uruguay.”

The Azimut 83 yacht is powered by twin MAN V12-1800HP diesel engines. She can achieve an impressive top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.
