New floating barge for superyachts launched by The Italian Sea Group

Thursday, May 8, 2014, was marked by the first launch of the year for The Italian Sea Group. The first project to touch water this year is not a yacht, but has the same importance in terms of commitment as well as attention. It is a floating barge that will allow operations of launching for yachts measuring up to 90m in length.

A busy year for the Group which features today 12 superyachts from 40 to 60m under construction with the two brands Admiral and Tecnomar.

While presenting important dimensions, 75m long, 24m wide and a construction height of 4m, the floating barge was built in a very short timeframe.

The dock has a lifting capacity of 1400ton, reaching a maximum diving depth of 10m.

The main feature of the barge is the extraordinary speed of immersion, managing to reach 1.6m in just 15 minutes.

The unit is equipped with dual certification: as a barge with the features above described and as a pontoon for navigation in coastal waters.
