The partnership between Design Unlimited and Sunseeker continues to go from strength to strength, with the interior of the new Manhattan 73 the latest project to come from Mark Tucker and his team.

The Sunseeker Manhattan 73 motor yacht is exceptionally spacious for its length thanks to its new hull and efficient layout. As well as a full‐width owners’ suite with walk‐in wardrobe and other high‐end features the yacht has two additional double en‐suite cabins plus a twin ‐ more accommodation than is normally found on a craft of this size. Living space for two crew members is located in the stern with separate access.
The saloon, offering extensive seating areas with exceptional views from its large‐format windows, features a colour scheme devised by Design Unlimited that uses striking tones ‐ white, black, red and silver ‐ to create an atmosphere that is vibrant during the day without being discordant. The colour palette then extends throughout the interior, along with the use of walnut joinery with white linings and walnut planked flooring to introduce warm, textured elements that contribute to a rich, luxurious ambience after dark.
“This is a performance motoryacht designed for fun and excitement as well as comfortable cruising, and we set out to create interiors that reflected that ethos,” said Design Unlimited’s Mark Tucker.
“Our aim has been to create a combination of colours and furnishings that contribute to the overall sense of space and energy while at the same time creating an environment ideal for unhurried relaxation both inside and out.”
Interior images if the Manhattan 73 will be available in the second half of January and her first showing will be at London Boat Show 2011.

Design Unlimited specialises in yacht interior design and exterior styling for both custom and production yachts. Founded in 2000 by Mark Tucker the team has worked on some of the most well known sailing and motor superyachts afloat today, as well as working in conjunction with many famous brands including Sunseeker and the Hanse Group.
