Launched in 2017 by Heesen Yachts, 49.8m superyacht Home (ex. Project Nova) is the world's first Fast Displacement Hull Form motor yacht with a hybrid propulsion system. Van Oossanen Naval Architects worked on Home's innovative hull and naval architecture, while Omega Architects designed the exterior.

Motor yacht Home is an ultra-efficient vessel, which provides low fuel consumption and extended range. Home burns 57 litres per hour at a speed of 10 knots. Without compromising high speed, this luxury vessel can reach a top speed of 16.3 knots, with the power coming from the main engines. She can cruise with complete silence at a speed of 9 knots, thanks to her diesel-electric propulsion system. Home is expected to register only 46 decibels of noise in the owner's suite while cruising in electric mode.

Omega Architects aimed to add some beach-villa style to the design of motor yacht Home. Thus, there is an extensive amount of glass and cutaway bulwarks to ensure plenty of natural light coming into the bright and airy interior. Cristiano Gatto worked on the minimalistic and modern design of Home's indoor living spaces. The dual-colour palette was chosen to create light and relaxing ambience, while some dark red and burgundy design elements would add to the lavish styling.

On the main deck of the luxury motor yacht Home, there is a spacious main salon with comfortable seating and dining areas. The lower deck has a fully equipped gymnasium and an engine room. The sundeck is a fantastic area for unwinding and leisure: there are a large wet bar and a spa pool for the guests to enjoy luxury cruising to the fullest. A large alfresco dining area is on the sun deck of the yacht.

“Dutch and German shipyards are recognised as the best in the world. We are one of the three top shipyards in the Netherlands, and one of the best in the world. We are also renowned for technology, innovation and modern cutting-edge design. If comparing ourselves to car manufacturers, we are the equivalent of Aston Martin rather than Rolls-Royce.” - Mark Cavendish, the Commercial Director of world-renowned superyacht builder Heesen Yachts
