Yachting Seasons & Climate:

The tropical and sub-tropical climates in the Caribbean are affected by trade winds that produce lush rain forests and desert regions. Throughout the year, the majority of islands have a humid environment and stable temperatures in the 20s°C/60s°F, climbing higher in the summer months.

Although the hurricane season runs from June to November, most hurricanes occur between August and September and luxury yacht charterers are advised to avoid the hurricane belt during these months.

Clothing to Pack for Your Charter:

Most of the Caribbean islands dress smart casual and expensive jewellery is usually out on show at popular superyacht destinations such as St Barths and St Maarten. Due to the humidity, guests will want to wear as few layers as possible in natural materials, with plenty of room for movement and airflow.
