SUNRAYS - Maiden Voyage

Just a few months after Oceanco  launched luxury motor yacht Y705 SUNRAYS , she departed the yard on her Maiden voyage. The photo to the left shows the luxury vessel as she exited a bridge across the waterway from the yard.

Oceanco proudly delivered the 85.5m  SUNRAYS ex Y705, ahead of schedule on the 9th of March. After breaking the champagne bottle over the bow at her delivery party at the Oceanco shipyard, the 85.5m SUNRAYS took to the sea on her maiden voyage with great success.

The Superyacht SUNRAYS ex Y705 is luxurious, powerful and technologically advanced. Measuring 85.5m (280.5ft), the full displacement megayacht features a flared bow with an eye-catching teal coloured hull. Her exterior design is by the late Björn Johansson and the interior design by Terence Disdale. The luxury motor yacht Y705 SUNRAYS is certain to stand out from the crowd.

The Oceanco motor yacht SUNRAYS has powerful twin 3,492kW MTU 16V 595 TE 70 engines enabling her to achieve a maximum speed of 20 knots, despite her full displacement bow.

The exceptionally spacious 85.5m megayacht features accommodation for up to 16 guests in 8 staterooms including the Master suite with its own lounge, study and private exterior deck area with whirlpool, the Master VIP, 2 double VIP suites, 2 double guest cabins, and 2 twin guest cabins. The yacht’s upper deck houses a master suite with a pool balcony, while a VIP cabin and study room lie behind. Both rooms have foldable sea balconies and can also be connected with the master suite, facilitating the possibility of one large living area. There is a full beam lounge Aft of the quarters.

The megayacht SUNRAYS’s main deck features the VIP cabin and four guest cabins which connect to each other. Her large dining room can be converted into a video conference room with the optional use of the adjacent library. The unique dining table also transforms into an innovative gyroscopic self-levelling pool table. Foldable sea balconies offer guests an unrestricted view while dining.
