Spirit Yachts, world leaders in the design and construction of Modern Classic yachts, are pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Stuart as Managing Director.

Nigel will take the Company into a new phase of development as they open their new Hong Kong office. Sean McMillan says “I am extremely excited that Nigel has joined us, he brings with him an exceptional amount of experience working with yachts worldwide and is passionate about delivering the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship and customer service. We look forward to working together with Nigel to continue to build on the success of the last twenty years in developing the Spirit brand, recognised throughout the international yachting community for elegance, performance and spectacular craftsmanship.”
Nigel Stuart joins Spirit Yachts leaving Discovery Yachts where he has been Managing Director since 2008; where he successfully developed 4 of the 5 models in the Discovery Yacht range and turned the company into a world leader in blue water sailing.
With over 20 years marine management experience and with a background in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Nigel is the perfect choice to lead the Spirit team into the next phase of their development. Sean McMillan will continue as Chief Executive and Chief Designer with Kevin Felix remaining as Chairman.
