Motor yacht tender Oronero is an exclusive yacht designed as limousine tender for mega yachts. The Oronero tender is 12m length and 3.80m width and reaches a maximum speed of 25 Knots. The main characteristic of this yacht is his folding hard-top, which permits a secure and comfortable navigation in all weather conditions. During bad conditions it is possible to close the hard-top to be warm and dry and in the contrary, during sunny days it is possible to fold up the roof and navigate under the sun, with a total open day boat feeling.

The main goals of the Oronero yacht tender project are:
1. To be the first yacht with a convertible and completely automatized hard-top on the world.
2. To have two folding platforms, each one in each lateral of the hull, that allows us to enter or leave the boat without stairs and without dangerous movements.
3. To be completely build in carbon fibber in order to keep the boat as light as possible.
4. To have hybrid engines that reduces the consumption and promotes a more sustainable navigation.
5. To have solar panels on the roof for a major energetic autonomy.

On the main deck of the Oronero superyacht tender we can find the cockpit, the TV, and the dinette, which is easily convertible in a solarium. In the interior deck we find a dinette convertible in bed, the kitchen and the bathroom, with the toilette and the shower. The interior combines clear oak wood and beige leather with the carbon fibber, offering a hight tech and elegant ambience.

Alex Pirard (Barcelona, Spain) has a background in product and car design (Volvo Strategic Design Barcelona and BMW “M” Gmbh). Amongst other yacht projects, he drew the main lines of the Difer 54´ motor yacht which received a great success during the Salon de la Plaisance in 2006.
