The 61 metre ‘Lady Kathryn V’ yacht with her all white hull and superstructure is all ready to be launched at the Lurssen shipyard in Germany (Lürssen Werft Bardenfleth). Motor yacht ‘Lady Kathryn V’ is a full displacement vessel and she was previously known as project Coco and project 061 whilst under build. Images of the newly launched yacht will be supplied when she has been officially launched and delivered to the yacht’s owner by Lürssen. That is scheduled to take place this 2011 summer season where superyacht Lady Kathryn V will be cruising Europe and the Mediterranean where she is available for luxury yacht charters. The yacht also has plans to go further afield to the Caribbean and elsewhere.
The 60 m Motor Yacht 'Lady Kathryn V' by Lurssen
M/Y Lady Kathryn V, at just over 200 feet LOA, was preceded by the Lurssen built superyacht Linda Lou yachts and was similarly externally designed by Espen Øino of Espen Oeino International. The M/Y Lady Kathryn V yacht is a successor in name to the American built Westport 164 and other smaller yachts before that. The new Lurssen Lady Kathryn V yacht was constructed from aluminium and steel – with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
The interior design of the yacht Lady Kathryn V was designed by Adam Lay, from Adam Lay Studio. She sleeps up to a maximum of 12 guests overnight making her ideal for yacht charters. Her accommodation layout includes an owners’ master suite which is situated on the main deck and a VIP stateroom up on her bridge deck. There are a further four double ensuited guest cabins positioned down on the yacht’s lower deck.
