Galactica Super Nova has won five international awards including one for the Best Naval Architecture – Displacement Motor Yacht and Best Design Feature at the ShowBoats Design Awards 2017 in Kitzbühel.
Accommodation aboard Heesen GALACTICA SUPER NOVA is provided to up to twelve guests in six beautifully appointed staterooms. These include a full-beam master suite, one VIP cabin and four double guest cabins.
The yacht has amazing 357 square metres of deck space for entertainment and relaxation. From her breath-taking sun deck to the beach club, there are twelve alternatives for guests to choose from, including sunbathing, dining, spa, Jacuzzis, jet-pool or just lounging around in the sun or shade.
The vessel features advanced technology, including the revolutionary fast displacement hull, a groundbreaking fixed pitch propeller and a Rolls Royce central booster jet. Her foredeck can be used as touch-and-go helipad, sunbathing, informal dining or transformed in outdoor cinema. In addition, there is a 6-metre swim-jet infinity pool with waterfall, glass panelled bottom and spa jets for hydro massage, 44 m2 space of platforms unfolding from the 146m2 beach club, as well as shaded sun deck that includes sunpads, barbeque, bar, dining area and lounge. The upper deck combines with the sky lounge to create an enormous indoor/outdoor entertainment area of 92m2.
Utilising the Heesen’s revolutionary fast displacement technology, the all-aluminium GALACTICA SUPER NOVA can reach an amazing maximum speed of 30 knots.

The angle and position of the fin stabilisers ensures major comfort for the guests on board with minimal effect on the speed. Humphrey interceptors were added to the hull design allowing for comfortable, dynamic trim response at all speeds.

The propulsion system includes two wing engines and one central booster engine, with fixed-pitch propellers – a configuration that has been installed for the first time on a superyacht (at the time of the launch).
