The weather in Indonesia is difficult to cover briefly because the geographical area is so large. Depending on where you have rented your yacht, the peak tourist season is between mid-June and mid-September and in addition there is also the Christmas and New Year season too. Generally, the temperature can be described as tropical with temperatures between 21°C and 33°C on the sea. The two main seasons basically divide into wet and dry (November - April are the wet months (January and February being the wettest) with May to October dry) but in practice the weather doesn’t absolutely follow these rules. It should be noted that in Northern Sumatra the seasons are actually the opposite of this.
