Motor yacht Y42 is a luxury vessel available for charter vacations in the Mediterranean. Measuring 34.00m (111' 7") and previously known as Lady Elaine, she was built by the Canados shipyard in 2008 and refitted in 2019. Y42 offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins and has a professional crew of 5 on board.

EXTERIOR

The large lower deck swim platform is ideal as a sunbathing area close to the water, and is used for storing the tender while in transit. Two staircases lead to the main deck aft, where there is a sofa lining the stern, movable armchairs and a raised table for alfresco dining shaded by the bridge deck overhang. Side walkways lead around to the foredeck, where a broad sunbed covers the area in front of the Master suite.

The bridge deck aft is accessed via the interior raised pilothouse, and sun loungers are placed in the sunshine along the aft where they benefit from sweeping views of the surroundings. A Jacuzzi is placed amidships to port, and farther forward is a C-shaped sofa and raised table for alfresco dining shaded by the hardtop, which opens up at the touch of a button to let in the sunshine. A more casual lounging and dining area is placed adjacent, with a wet bar forward. The helm station forward provides a plush sofa for guests to sit in the sunshine while at anchor taking in the forward views.

INTERIOR

The lower deck hosts the crew accommodation with space in the stern for storing the water toys. The guest accommodation is placed on the main deck with the Master suite being the most forward cabin, followed by the double and twin cabins and the main foyer amidships. The aft section contains the formal dining area forward consisting of a large circular dining table surrounded by seating, and the aft salon provides a long sofa against the port wall and a forward-facing C-shaped sofa and fabric-covered coffee table/foot rest to starboard.

On the bridge deck, there is a sofa behind the pilot seat where guest can watch the action or use the space as a second cosy lounge while at anchor.

A pair of MTU 16V 2000 M93 producing 3580 kW create a top speed of 30 knots, a cruising speed of 25 knots and a range of 500 nautical miles.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins, all placed on the main deck for an abundance of natural light. ~ The Master suite placed on the main deck forward is a light an airy environment boasting a forward-facing King-sized bed that has 180-degree views. The forward cabinetry contains a pop-up widescreen TV and there is a sofa beneath. To port and starboard are desks/vanities, and numerous spotlights and table lamps allow the occupants to choose the ambience for the evening. The aft en-suite bathroom offers two sinks, a toilet and a combination bathtub/shower. ~ The double cabins are spacious and have a double bed, a floor-to-ceiling window with a widescreen TV integrated into it, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. ~ Both twin cabins come with widescreen TVs, large wardrobe space and plenty of natural light through the large windows. The en-suite bathroom provides a toilet, sink and shower.
