Sailing yacht LIBERTAS is a Jeanneau Sunkiss 47 charter boat built in 1989 and refitted in 2007. The yacht is based in Greece year round and offers a great charter experience for up to 4 guests in two spacious double cabins.

Sailing yacht LIBERTAS is unique in that she offers a complete package of Sailing and Yoga - however, if it's just Sailing or Relaxation you're after, they are happy to tailor your holiday to whatever your requirements. If you are an experienced sailor, then they welcome your participation to join in with the running of the boat or if you have limited experience then this is a chance to participate and learn if that appeals to you. Otherwise you can sit back and relax enjoying the beauty of the Greek isles.

Yoga is offered on board as an optional therapeutic bonus included in your package if you wish to participate. Absolutely no experience is necessary and it is tailored to the needs of your holiday.

LIBERTAS is based in Greece year round which is an amazing sailing environment. The Aegean Sea is dotted with hundreds of islands all within easy reach of one another, making your journey easy through crystal clear turquoise water and consistent warm winds. If cute white-washed villages, sprawling olive groves, great walking, fantastic local produce and friendly locals is your passion then this holiday is for you. Every day is a new adventure!

A popular route begins Samos - a perfect starting location and Northern gateway of the Greek Dodecanese Islands. You can fly direct to Athens & take a fast ferry to Samos, or fly direct into Samos to meet the yacht. Alternatively (by arrangement) they are happy to discuss other holiday routings such as the beautiful Turkish coast.

Your adventure aboard LIBERTAS includes the luxury of skipper Chris and chef and yoga teacher Lee with 'flexibility their focus'. Since learning to sail as a child in New Zealand, Skipper Chris Kirk has been irrevocably drawn to the water. He will be your guide to a water wind and beach environment. Along with expensive experience, Chris is a charming host and is great fun. His infectious approach to living life to the max is his greatest quality. He is dedicated to adventuring, sharing the beauty of the sea and seeking out those special places for those cruising aboard 'Libertas'. He has been practicing philosophy and Yoga for many years alongside his Yoga teacher wife Lee. Lee began her yoga path in 1995 and in 2001 she pursued and followed her teaching training path. Lee is qualified to teach under the International Yoga Teachers Association and holds the highest 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training Diploma. After many years of teaching, Lee now teaches yoga onboard LIBERTAS, tailored to the needs of her guests (absolutely no experience necessary - participation optional) If all this isn't enough, Lee also happens to be a talented and accomplished chef! Assisted by her 'partner-in-crime' Chris, a seemingly endless supply of wholesome and tasty food (sourced locally where possible) emerges from the depths of Libertas' galley.

The charter rate includes a fully equipped yacht, the services of a skipper and crew, chef and yoga teacher, breakfast and lunch, soft drinks, fuel and VAT.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The Jeanneau Sunkiss 47 LIBERTAS can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests in two spacious double cabins, sharing an ensuite toilet and shower, perfect for a family or two couples. Each cabin has its own sink & vanity unit.

Charter Amenities and Extras

The Jeanneau Sunkiss 47 LIBERTAS is well equipped and has roller furling on the genoa, wheel steering, an electric anchor winch, GPS, autopilot, radar & chart plotter, wind instruments, depthsounder, speed and VHF radio. There is a swimming platform at the rear of the vessel with an on deck shower (great for ambient early morning showers) and a boarding ladder for easy access from the water or for fishing. The cockpit has a spray dodger & bimini giving full shade on hot sunny days. Libertas has a BBQ, radio & CD player with cockpit speakers & over 200 albums onboard - (ambient chillout, jazz, dance etc). The fully equipped galley has an electric fridge and drinks cooler, and together with the saloon form a roomy, cozy centre for cooking and enjoying music or a good book. The saloon and navigation area has a great selection of books including complete area cruising guides and charts for our destinations.Ventilation throughout the vessel is excellent, & all 3 cabins have mosquito nets. The roomy upper forward deck is an ideal space for sunbathing and sundowners at sunset.
