Luxury Yacht Events of the World

Chartering a luxury superyacht is the ideal way to attend and enjoy some of the world’s most highly anticipated events. What could be better than soaking up the atmosphere at high society yacht shows, regattas, sporting events and film festivals? Get close to the action so you can take in these events at your leisure. Event charters are available for business or pleasure providing a floating front row seat at many unmissable events. There are even shows which aren’t open to the public, VIP entertainment at its very best.

There are a handful of very important events in the luxury yachting calendar where superyachts are chartered to attend the event or the boating industry displays luxury yachts for sale. The Monaco Grand Prix is a unique event in the luxury yacht world where yachts are chartered as a luxurious base to see the motor racing. The Cannes Film festival is similar in that yachts are used as bases for accommodation, events and entertainment. The Monaco Yacht Show is the largest boat show for superyachts in the world. These 3 events all take place on the Cote d’ Azure region of France and Monaco in the Mediterranean where there is a great selection of yachts for charter.

Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS)

The Dubai International Boat Show is an annual event which showcases superyachts from some of the most prestigious shipyards in the region, along with internationally recognised names from across the world. It was the first event of its kind in the Middle East, UAE and GCC, and remains the largest and best attended for these regions.

In addition to displaying the latest luxury yacht models, visitors can also discover the latest tenders and water toys, learn about diving spots in the region shop for the trendiest fashions and accessories, watch live entertainment from DJs and musicians, and take part in sport such as the kingfish competition.

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) |  Port Hercule 

Every Monaco Yacht Show is bigger and better than the last, with more luxury superyachts (for charter and sale), designers and yacht builders exhibiting than ever before.

The Monaco Yacht Show is held annually in September at Port Hercules, Monaco, and brings together professionals from the international luxury yachting sector. Companies and individuals include luxury yacht builders, brokers, designers, equipment suppliers, and service providers and they gather to show off the latest and greatest luxury yachts for sale and charter in Monaco.

The Monaco Yacht Show is the only yacht show worldwide which is exclusively devoted to superyachts of over 25 meters in length. It is the largest floating luxury yacht display in Europe of super and megayachts. This makes the Monaco Yacht Show premiere showcase for Super Yachts.

Palm Beach International Boat Show | 

PBIBS draws in thousands of visitors from across the world, who use the international airport for quick and convenient connections. The show highlights some of the region's greatest vessels from American and international shipyards, both for sale and for charter around the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean. In addition to the vessels on display, there are luxury cars, lifestyle products, water toys exhibitors that give demonstrations, competitions and refreshments. VIP ticket holders also have exclusive access to the VIP lounge for cocktails and gourmet tasting sessions throughout every day of the event.

Qatar Boat Show | 

The Qatar Boat Show is an annual event held at the Old Doha Port. It showcases luxury yachts, marine innovations, and lifestyle products, drawing enthusiasts, industry experts, and buyers. The event features exhibitions of superyachts, water sports, and luxury goods, along with networking opportunities and a focus on sustainability. Monaco Grand Prix | 

The Monaco Grand Prix has been held annually since 1929, in the Principality of Monaco. It is a Formula One race which is considered to be one of the most important and prestigious races anywhere in the world.

The Grand Prix race uses the actual city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine, which are specially prepared in advance. The cars race down right past the moored super yachts in Monaco harbour. The narrow course is made up of several tight corners, elevation shifts making it the most dangerous and demanding track still used for Formula One motor racing.

Normally a luxury yacht will berth right in the inner harbour, along side the Palais des Festivals Cannes, without leaving its berth - although berths are at a premium for the event and authority is required from the port many months in advance.
